Chief Product Officer

Tom serves as Chief Product Officer at Lumachain, where he leads the product strategy and portfolio for the company’s AI-powered traceability platform. With end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, he focuses on delivering solutions that bring transparency and trust to the food supply chain. Since joining in 2020, Tom has been hands-on in building key modules of Lumachain’s platform, previously as a Tech Lead and later as Head of Product Strategy.

With a background in Software Engineering and Product Management, Tom previously led software teams in London’s dynamic FinTech sector. He holds a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from King’s College London. Tom believes that with the advent of the AI age, AgriTech innovations in tracking, forecasting, and managing the food supply chain will transform global commerce by improving efficiency, transparency, and safety — ensuring that the food we consume is sustainably sourced and ethically produced in ways that were not previously possible.
